Looking at the original posts I made here, DP added in new Time Stretch algorithms and MIDI mute notes before DPX. :)

I'm betting on MOTU announcing DP X or 10 whatever they call it at Winter NAMM here. this is a typical amount of time, even a little long between upgrades. The announcement is always 3-4 months before release, at least from my memory, so that gives time for new users who upgraded to make the choice or not feel 'cheated'.

The question now IMO isn't feature requests but random uneducated fun speculation on what they actually will implement? :P

I have no idea, but I'm guessing:

- GUI changes for font sizes, since it's a common complaint.
- New instrument(s), [ some version of MachFive3/Falcon maybe even ], since it's a common gripe about their built in plug ins.
- New "project management" tools. Hopefully this includes things like bounce to disk options..
- Spectrogram display in the Sequence Editor gets some iZotope/Samplitude type editing features, as showed in this Samplitude video. https://youtu.be/Y-RsGLBEnkg?t=377

Basically I'm guessing MOTU make some changes that might be controversial to some and godsends to others.

I just want to play a moderately RAM hungry VI without redline spiking and audio dropouts.

Sorry to be snarky, just spent a very frustrating afternoon with 9.5.1. I had hope and then it was the same old same old. Yah, maybe it's just my system, but then why does 9.02 work so flawlessly?

I LOVE 9.02, just don't want to be stuck here forever.

Mostly what I notice with Kontakt in particular is if it's heavily scripted it's more on an issue. The Cinesamples libraries for instance, on my system cannot be loaded into the same instance of Kontakt without sometimes spiking. I load it into separate tracks and it's OK.

Please just add the option-scrollwheel zoom. That little thing is my biggest wish.
