Resizing images with BBcode on the forum?

Post by Robert Randolph »

It doesn't seem to be possible to resize images with bbcode as it is possible on most phpbb forums.

Was this disabled or is there a different markup for it here?

Not even aware this existed. This is a fairly recent version I'm running.

It is listed at http://www.bbcode.org/reference.php (which I'm sure you found).

It would help a lot with posting large images, particularly with animated gifs that can be super helpful to answer questions, but unusually large as well. They end up cropped if not resized.

It also makes threads less obnoxious to read if the post writer resizes and links their images (as I try to).

If you could implement it, at least one person would use it a lot :D

I'll check into it if I have time. This is a hobby for me essentially. Nobody has ever had a problem with it before. This is a standard installation of phpbb, so why it is not implemented I would not know.
