It is Bill Wyman. Of the many pictures I found of him playing the Ampeg Dan Armstrong Bass, it was the only one that fit comfortably on one of these pages.

Note that he has his strap pin on the lower horn. He does that with many of his basses so that they will be at more upright angle. Every one I have seen has two strap pins on the bottom so that, when you stood it on end, it was less likely to tip.

Mr. Wyman stated in a GP article that, because of his small hands, he prefers short scale basses with skinny necks such as this and the Fender Mustang.

Interestingly, Keith started playing the guitar after Bill stopped playing the bass -- he had switched to a wood body version of this same bass.
