Dang, I wish my wife's 2011 iMac supported usb 3. I'd be on one of these in a heartbeat just to see how well it might work.

I would be very surprised if I noticed any speed bump via usb 2.

Any reason why one couldn't hook this up to a USB3 PCI card via a cable and use it as an audio drive, Mike?

Could be an option down the track for me. No TB, and my optical bay's already got an SSD in it.
