AVB in my studio is possible. But is something I don't presently need, and won't look at until the next time I buy a new computer (which will be a while).

As for the Internet of Things, no thanks. I'm already connected enough as is.

Sorry to go on topic, but I thought the article was useful. It told me where AVB came from and why I don't need it.

Now, if only MOTU could get its AVB network to run on my 2012 Mac...
