Youtube video Logic VS Digital Performer for film scoreing.
I just watched an in depth Youtube video on Logic VS Digital performer for film scoring. It was as non-bias as he could get. It was very obvious that DP was much better for film scoring than logic. DP's video sync was more accurate, chunks made work flow much easier and faster, Logic had to do a work around using Quicktime and multiple projects in Logic to do the same thing. DP has v-racks, fluters, and a number of things logic does not. Logic is cheaper was the main strength that it had.

And chunks? They got chunks? (Multi-sequence projects).

Logic he got no chunks. But can open multiple project at once and C&P among them. But there's no interaction between them like there would be if you wanted to sequence them in DP. And nothing like V-Racks to span multiple projects.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:They got chunks?
