...dunno if I agree with the 'most' bit, but intersting nonetheless.

The bit @ 2:00 on the Earh's Hum related to a piece I recently posted: http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... 12&t=58628
Cheers,

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

If they would NOT use the damn background sound under all the "mysterious" sounds I might have gotten past #2. And where is the authoritative source of info on the sounds?

By not sticking through to the end you missed the bit about the lonliest whale.

But yeah, I agree in genetal, the soundtrack was annoying and it was all a bit unsubstantiated.

I still found it interesting, and one can always Google-up for more background on one of the sounds if there are doubts about their information.

Yeah, the 52Hz whale. It calls out at a frequency of 52Hz, which is much higher than the vocalizations of most other species. Huh? The sound sample they played was not anywhere near 52 Hz.

And, how about that ultra low frequency bloop they played. Ultra low frequency my ass.

I call bull pucky.
