I want to let his fellow Cornies know that our frequent contributor, and resident sage/curmudgeon, MIDI Life Crisis had a Real Life Crisis this past Friday (5/2) when he suffered a heart attack. Fortunately it happened while he was already in his cardiologist's office and he got immediate medical care. I'm happy to report that he is well on his way to a full recovery. In fact, he played a gig the very next night!

Take care of yourself buddy. We need you here to keep us honest!

"... played a gig the very next night."
The show must go on... With MLC around, this old saying must be taken literally.

Be well Michael.

Thanks guys. I feel great and the show sold out (600). Two hours of vigorous playing never felt so good. That it was 36 hours after a terrible experience amazed me beyond belief. The presenters were even more amazed. The good part is the damage is repairable with drugs and there was virtually no down time.

All the best MLC, take it easy and stay well.
Cheers,

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

Mike!
I'm so glad you are Ok, that you got immediate medical attention, and you had such a speedy recovery.

You played a gig the day after?? That's quite impressing.
