Michael, I'm glad to read that you are recovering.

Now be good, listen to your doctors and take care of yourself. Don't become me.

Wow, this was a shocking thread to see. I'm glad to hear you're doing well MLC. And you did a gig the next day? Amazing! Still, take good care of yourself and stay healthy.

I've heard of the show must go on, but that's pretty extreme!

Even though we have never met, I feel like Ive gotten to know you a little from your posts. Take care and my best wishes for a speedy and thorough recovery!

Chris

The upside is you played a show the next day and it's treatable.
But yeah don't be doing that!

I haven't missed a performance in 40 years. Truly, I'd rather die than miss a performance. It's truly my life. Had the Dr. said I had to stay in the hosp I would have, but he saw that missing it would be devastating. I saw him today and he wanted to hear all about it. He was very pleased with everything else. All good.

Whoah, horrible news, and I can only hope and pray for a full recovery.

I've seen three people in our age bracket get this unpleasant surprise this past year, and it always opens up a lot of questions. My co-worker still doesn't have answers but is trying to make adjustments based on doctor's advice.

Those who live through it usually last a long time, yet ever more aware of their mortality. It's the first few minutes that are so critical. That MLC is still with us is more than luck and says a lot about how likely he is to recover.

My mom had a stint after hers, as did two of my cousins, and those things have become game-changers and keep improving all the time. I'll be seeing her in a couple of days, but will have to say these past few years she's been healthier overall than BEFORE the heart attack. My hope is that this will also apply to Michael (MLC).
