Superior Drummer 2.0 Crossgrade $99.99 – SAVE $150

Post by twistedtom »

I got this email today, I have EZdrummer but I also already own Superior Drummer so it is not for me. If you have EZdrummer and like it you will love Superior Drummer.

EZdrummer owner? Ready to take the next step in producing world-class drum sounds? Now is the time to save big and crossgrade to Toontrack's flagship and industry standard drum production tool!

You sure about that? The term "crossgrade" is typically used for things like going from BFD to Superior Drummer... a different company. I cross graded from Finale to Sibelius, from Pro Tools to DP. I'm not saying you're wrong, they could just be using this term differently, but I would have expected this to be called an "upgrade".

Typical terms for changing software:
Update - From one version number to a higher version number of the same program
Upgrade - From a lower product line ("lite") to a higher product line within the same company
Crossgrade - From one product to a different but equal product by a different company

But if not, that's awesome... and I'll have to think long and hard about taking the plunge.

You might check out Crossgrade bundles with possibly bigger discounts at Audiodeluxe.

I'm really digging the Superior/EZ world, great grooves and drum sounds. Lots to like.

Well, I went for it.

I have EZDrummer and lots of EZXs, but have always wished I could have a more editing options, mix and match snares and toms from different kits, etc.

One of the things I also love is auditioning grooves by clicking the 'groove tempo' button in Superior and hearing the grooves in the original tempo without having to constantly adjust the tempo in DP (or EZ Drummer) to match.

Check out bundles of the TT MIDI packs, lots of useable content there as well.
