I prefer to stare AT a GUI... not have it stare back at me!

Post by James Steele »

Just got an email from Crysonic with an upgrade offer to Spectralive Vision. Okay... as I type this post, I sort of "get it." Maybe because of the "Vision" name. Still... I think this looks goofy with the eyeballs.

It would be especially cool if those eyes doubled as VU meters. That would get silly pretty quickly.

Sorry, from that GUI alone I wont buy the product. It strikes me as
a cover-up for what is probably a poor-quality plug-in. What is it anyway?
Looks like an enhancer of some sort.

I much prefer a GUI that looks like a piece of high-end equipment, not a Halloween mask.

Well to be fair, Crysonic's stuff isn't all bad. A lot of it useful and as other have backed me up on this, Sindo is one of the best stereo enhancers out there, period. But this just struck me as too "teenager" for the lack of a better term! :)
