I'd love to go, it's only 106 miles from me, but heavy traffic on parts of 101 to get there before 7 PM, and traffic on the mountain roads starting at 3:30 PM, too.
What a great gig, and it's so wonderful that you have the talent and abilities to make it happen. Wow. I'm always so impressed with you, Michael.
Have a great time!

Which show would you recommend to someone new to silent movies? (I'm thinking Thursday…)

Thursday Films of 100 Years Ago if far more entertaining. Home movies are great but lack story unless you're really interested in personality.
Plus the authentic hand cranked projector is unique. If you go, get tickets early as it may well sell out. Do come to the piano before and/ or afterwards to say hey. Would love to meet you.

FYI: There's a very good Puerto Rican/Caribbean restaurant close by. Fresh, simple, well-prepared food.

Thanks. I think the host picks this little Italian place down the block but I may check it out in the next few days.

Forgot to mention: FWIW, if you're still around over the weekend, I'll be playing down the street at Fenix with guitarist Ray Obiedo on Saturday night.

Looking forward to your show.
