Just a random thought here, but I wonder if forum software has or will ever have the ability to allow members to ignore specific discussions or even entire sections, the way posts of certain members can currently be ignored/blocked?

Re: Forum feature request: Ignore This Discussion
I'm pretty sure there's a way to ignore certain users and their posts aren't visible. This board runs on phpBB and I'm sure somewhere online there's detailed info on that. I don't think there's a way you can hide a particular thread/topic.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Just a random thought here, but I wonder if forum software has or will ever have the ability to allow members to ignore specific discussions or even entire sections, the way posts of certain members can currently be ignored/blocked?

Sorry if I misspoke. I know (and use) Friend and Foe blocking from time to time. Just wondering out loud about the other features. No refund required at this time.

That would have to be some setting in you user control panel I imagine. I don't think there's any option that I could enable as administrator to make that feature appear.MIDI Life Crisis wrote:Sorry if I misspoke.
