We don't discuss politics here and I won't violate that rule, but I do want to let you folks know that I will not be posting ANYTHING beyond this post and will not be responding to this or any other threads until the situation here in the USA returns to normal.

Hope to see you on the other side real soon.

This isn't good. I'm afraid we're never going to hear from you again if "normal" is the goal. That's not going to happen.

How 'bout less screwed up?

For obvious reasons, and because I like you, I hope you're back soon.

Ok. Let's take advantage of that and talk bad about him. He won't be answering after all...

I agree. If there is someone who respects the forum's rules is MLC.

If I remember correctly, we used to have, for a few days, permission to talk about politics and religion, but James quickly got fed up by the unnecessary moderating extra work and by some members' bluntness. I don't think I ever got to post there, unfortunately, since debating about science and religion is one of my passions.

Frankly, I wish we had a forum dedicated for those topics, but I can perfectly understand and support James' decision not to have them. We have other places in the internet to do that, after all.

As has been pointed out to me, one doesn't always have to make a political statement, in order to make a political statement. What to do with this thread is now a dilemma. I'm sidestepping the decision for now.

One of the things I've truly loved about this forum is the "no politics/religion" rule. It's such a relief to get away from those kinds of discussions. Or should I say, rampant, flamethrowing ,obscenity-laden arguments.

I really don't follow you MLC. Not sure if you're staging a boycott or figure you can't hold your tongue, but what does MOTUNation have anything to do with the current political climate? If anything, it's a safe haven where you can get away from all the political (I accidentally said "polutical") craziness.

come back!

I like not seeing arguments over "you know what", and "what", they do not belong here.
I just put my 2 cents in as I saw people had responded to this, I was not going to respond to it.

it's always sumptin,I hope to see MLC back soon, Motunation is not the same without him.
I like James policy avoiding these topics,I see some threads on other sites like VI-control and they seem so pointless and out of place, these are music oriented forums.
