Sorry Phil, baboons will have to wait. The crows are moving in first. They can go anywhere.

I listened with headphones on a laptop. The crow sound came from about 15 feet away out in the room. Interesting effect.Phil O wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUtnas5ScSE

Just to se the record right; a group of baboons is called a Troop, it is not a congress of baboons. It is indeed a "Troop of baboons". Just to clear up a facebook post going around.

Dunno, Baysey. All I do know is that it was a Ventrilocrow; that much is certain.
Fascinating fact: The Ventrilocrow is the only creature that has to 'phone you to chat if in the same room. To stone one you must take aim and throw 180º back over your head. Works for me, anyway.

Is that true everywhere, or only down under?monkey man wrote:Fascinating fact: The Ventrilocrow is the only creature that has to 'phone you to chat if in the same room. To stone one you must take aim and throw 180º back over your head. Works for me, anyway.
Does Monkey Labs produce a Ventrilocrow library?

I'm not bitin', Baysey. Thank you for the offer of food though, mate.
I really, really shouldn't be here, so I'm off again... to be inconsistently off topic.

I think you do have good power system..I will try to have similar solar battery system on my Rv and hope it works well.twistedtom wrote:Nick I finished that one shed and am starting a new one, one can not have to many out buildings garages and such.
Wylie my next door away neighbor just had solar panels put in. They hook up to the grid and lower the power you use. I knew some one who used batteries but lead acid batteries only last a few years or so and then you need all the converters to go with it. I have a solar battery system on my RV. This fall I put in a generator and transfer system on my house and have had to use it two times so far, it works well and it has plenty of power to keep what I must have running.

Re: The Longest, Most Inconsistently-Off-Topic Thread in His
Back from the dead... yet again. You must be tired of hearing it by now, but here goes... again:
I LOVE YOU!!!
Too much to tell, as is typical. I've discovered that Hell is difficult to describe; it's beyond my limited non-simian vocabulary at least. If only Google Translate™ listed Down-under Simian as an option. No matter, as I s-l-o-w-l-y grow up I learn ever more that it's my Hell and, as you know, one just has to deal with it. So, there'll be no more whining about "poor lil' ol' me" from this day forth. Good news, eh? In my experience, contact with you guys is sufficient to cure most any woes anyways (that's how you Yanks say it, innit?).
I sincerely hope that everyone is making progress with his/her music/engineering and is happy and well. A little naive of me perhaps, but hey, the sentiment is surely there.
Just thought I'd get the fluffy stuff out of the way in a truly insignivacant(!) locale before I trounce the troops with a smattering of typically-useless drivel in the form of, well, questions. You know I like to give but in this case I've waited soooo long (many years!) that the "unanswerables" have accumulated somewhat. I'll try to spread 'em out a little, so today it'll just be the AVB-related ones I'm posting here:
http://www.motunation.com/forum/viewtop ... =2&t=59063
As is always the case, I cannot overstate how much I love and respect you guys, so I won't bother trying. Suffice it to say, as I think I always do, that I've missed each and every one of you very, very much. You're all A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!
See ya on the Unicorn plains.
I LOVE YOU!!!
