It can, but in unexpected ways. It can also mute the sound when your BP is very high. But if you BP is that high, then ringing in your ears is the last thing you should be concerned with. But you're right, TT, it can also create a more intense ringing (or start ringing where it wasn't there before).

Toxic surges in the blood such as those caused by drugs, alcohol, soft drinks and junk food also exacerbate the noise in my experience.
