It's high time for a MOTU T-Shirt

Post by James Steele »

You know... I keep reading all these threads about other DAWs being more well known, etc. I think it's HIGH TIME that MOTU added some swag to their store:

https://www.motu.com/store/accessories

Yes, there is the MOTU bag for $89, but I'm talking a nice, smart black T-shirt with the "MOTU" logo emblazoned on the front. Or a Digital Performer T-Shirt. Or a coffee mug... or... or... whatever. I realize a company like MOTU isn't a guitar company, etc. but I think even adding T-Shirts or caps would be cool and put their logo out in front of people. I wear T-shirts all the time and I'd happily buy a MOTU shirt if there was such a creature.

Of course, I realize there will be no Unicorn logo swag. :-(

If given a choice, I will order the Unicorn logo. Black T-shirt, please.

I don't think that choice would be an option any more. But I'd be happy with just one with the MOTU letters across the front.

Add a baseball cap to the swag request, please!

I have one of the rare Reaktor Caps (to go with my Reaktor tat.) It would be cool to have something MOTU to wear occasionally. (But I won't be getting a unicorn emblazoned on my other delt. Even I'm not that strange.)

Well...on second thought...

There's always cafepress...we could just make our own. :)

Seriously, MOTU really needs to get a consistant, simple, recognizable logo for DP - I don't know why they don't consult a design firm on this. Instant brand/product recognition w/ a logo is one of the basic concepts of good business. I can probably spot an Apple logo from 500ft...

...and these:

NI also has a good sense of this, as w/ the previously mentioned Reaktor logo.
