The (un) Official DP8 Release notificaition!!!

well, for those of you who are (very) anxiously awaiting the release of DP8, I've got *GREAT NEWS*!!

I know *EXACTLY* when it will be released!

How do I know? Well, I'm about to take the "VEPro5" $250 plunge (in order to get around some of DP7.24's shortcomings), and there is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that, within *milliseconds* after I make the VEPRo5 purchase, DP8 will become immediately available, worldwide!
And it will, also no doubt, resolve most, if not all, of the issues that I'm getting VEPro5 for....

hmmm.....are we havin' fun yet?!

I was going to order DP 8 and MachFive 3 at the same time, but got fed up with waiting for DP. So I planned to order MachFive separately today. Now thanks to Mr Meyers I can wait another day and go back to Plan A.

I bought VE Pro for the same DP lameness reasons.
I don;t suppose that VE money will get credited towards the DP 8 upgrade will it? :boohoo:

All kidding aside, if DP 8 is smoking good, they could triple the upgrade price and I;d be happy..Fingers crossed.

If they were smokin' good stuff MOTU would be a subsidiary of Opcode by now. I prefer the sober genius' who are coding MOTU products to 'that other thing.' Not enough to move away from California, mind you, butt...
