Does anyone know of a good musician's social network.....

Post by guitardood »

Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has had any luck with or know of a decent social network for connecting with other local musicians looking to collaborate? I've tried bandmix.com but it seems just marginally better than craigslist.

Facebook generally has groups set up to serve the local musicians (in this case).

In Houston, one is called "Looking For A Gig Or Bandmember".

Just a thought!

@scatz, Thanks, I never even thought linkedin for music.

I also just signed up at TAXI (taxi.com) which I know used to be a good connection site. Don't know how relevant they are any longer, but went ahead and signed up for a year just based on previous reviews from a friend and colleague.
