Question re: exporting a movie from DP

Post by a82music »

I am exporting a movie file from DP. The exported file contains the video and my music but no dialogue/sound effects from the original video file. How do I fix this?

In DP's Movie window mini menu or via its Contextual (right click) menu, click import movie audio to bring its audio into tracks in DP. Then include these tracks in the movie export after adjusting volume, etc. This is one of the first things I do when starting a film project in DP. If there is a way to route the imbedded movie audio to aux tracks then output to the same bundle as your music mix, that would also work, I think, but I've never done it that way. Anyone?
