Save movie with DP project folder?

Post by Soundhound242 »

I'm working on a couple of projects and need to take a couple of them on the road with me this coming week and continue work on my laptop. Is there a correct way to save the movie file you're working on with the DP9 project? It seems that by default it references the movie file from its original location rather than copying it to the DP project folder. Is that the correct default behavior and is there a way to save it with the project?

thanks!

Just copy the movie file to your project folder, then point DP to that copy.

Right! Thanks, was just wondering if there's a way from in DP to save it that way. No need I suppose, just used to that option in Save in Logic...

AFAIK DP doesn't have an option to save the video files.

Unless you're using SSDs I recommend against putting the movie in the Project Folder. Streaming Audio and video (and samples) from the same spinner can cause a severe bottleneck.
