DP 9.12 not saving MachFive 3 setup

Post by Tidwells@aol.com »

2 days ago I spent quite a bit of time tweaking the "effects rack" in MachFive 3 to create the desired sound for MachFive 3's Telematic virtual instrument. I'm using it as a plug-in in DP 9.12 (Mac OS X El Capitan). I hit "save" in DP, then quit DP. Next day, I opened the project and the MachFive effect settings are not saved! I have to recreate it....Then I tried saving it as a MachFive preset, but the title of the saved preset is in italics in the preset menu. What does this mean? It still won't keep the settings! I tried taking a snapshot of the MachFive window using DP's automation....Still won't save the settings! Am I overlooking something?

Same issue here. It's been like this for years, so I think it's an M5 issue, not a DP issue. It's specifically with Telematic - I'm not sure I've seen it with any other M5 patch. M5 forgets the Telematic effects settings, but it will retain automation assignments. My work-around is to record automation for the on/offs and mixes of each effects module at the beginning of the sequence.

Good idea, Dix!

I'll try that. Thanks!
