Emulator X3 Proteus X2 Libraries

Post by fraz »

Hi,

Do the Emulator X3 / Proteus X2 libraries now work with Mach 5?

There was a problem a while ago with this and it may still be the case and with a lack of compatibility for Emulator X3 [other than Vista x64] it was rather difficult to use these libraries. Proteus X2 was 32 bit as well I think if my memory is correct.

I'm not near the computer at the moment to try stuff out or look for solutions but if anyone has info on this it's really helpful. There were or are others miffed with this situation as well.

I'll be planning to build a PC just for Vista x64 to use these libraries in 64 bit without RAM limitation but if Mach 5 can do this now I won't need to!

Emu libraries have an awkward copy protection on them and EMU haven't released an X4 either which makes matters worse.

I've got several of these libraries and will use them one way or the other!

Proteus X2 only worked on XP maybe too which makes you wander if EMU don't want people to use their libraries without great difficulty :shake: without being at the expense of other instruments which wouldn't do as well on XP for example VEP5!!

Any good news - Emu libraries in Mach 5 now?
