Hi........
Seeing a couple packages for SampleTank 3 I'm mildly interested in, but would rather not buy another sample player (already have M5 and Contact). No mention of SampleTank in the M5 manual.
Can SampleTank 3 instruments be imported into MachFive 3?
Thanks, as always.

I don't think so; IK changed their sample format with ST3. If one has older (ST2) libraries for Sampletank they have to be imported to be used in ST3. Going by that I would take it to mean MachFive wouldn't be able to use the ST3 stuff without changes/updates.Rick Cornish wrote:Hi........

I think you'd have to use Auto Sampler in MainStage 3 to do it, which means you'd need SampleTank anyway.
