DP SESSIONS created with m5 1 no show in v3

Post by Jeromy Holding »

I did a ton of work in Digital performer with machfive 1 over the years and have since I upgraded my computer and day before yesterday I got 3 . Now I'm opening my old sessions that I created with machfive 1 hoping that they would just intuitively recognize that well version one is no longer present version three is and that I would like to do the obvious. All things considered it would do what its predecessor version would do and let me assume those instruments to the newer version. Help!

At the very least you'll need to reassign the tracks to the new VI. It may not be possible to use your old patches, as well. Upgrades like that can be a PITA.

Try opening DP in 32-bit mode.

It has nothing to do with the question. He doesn't want to run M5-1 but have ver3 open his programs from ver1 - unless I am not understanding the question.
