What's up with this 3.2.1. update?

Post by MIDI Life Crisis »

My updated 3.2.1 says it's dated Jan 10, 2014. The MOTU website says the update is:
MachFive
Software Updater
v3.2.1 | Jan. 20, 2014
Do I need to re-update? Anyone know? MOTU closed today.

Thanks. Last time I called them about something like this I was told I had "a good eye" and that is was an error in creating the info on the page and they fixed it. I will just skip the update and the call this time.

I know it fixed a problem with Installing or I should say initiating UVI instrument plugins into MachFive 3 . I bought and downloaded UVI's Retro Organ and when trying to open it in MachFive 3's previous version I'd get a message that it was an invalid file. I re downloaded 3 times to make sure the download wasn't the problem but I got the same error message every time. I emailed UVI. Then I saw on the web that there was this new M5 update, I updated Machfive and then no problems loading Retro organ. UVI hadn't got back to me yet so I re emailed them to tell them how I fixed the problem. They emailed me back the next day to say yes that was all I had to do. They were aware, perhaps the update was for UVI products, but it may fix other incompatibilities so it's probably worth it just to update.
