Machfive 3.2 & D.P 8.05 quitt

I don't know what to do with version 3 obtained Machfive CU (Competitive Upgrade) installation first version 3.01 then the library. Then update to version 3.2 directly and update libraries. What a job !

Machfive 3 works well in standalone mode and also with DP 8.05 in 32 bits mode but always leave DP 64-bit.
I also tried with LOGIC 9 64-bit and it's work fine !
I tried to follow this Tech notes, but it does not work.

I wrote to MOTU and waits for the response but does not know what to do. I have used the new Ilok Manager and not the old files "Installs me first" now on DVD 1.
It's not easy ...

It's ok in 64 here. I think there is both a VST and AU version. Have you tried both? Some of my VIs prefer the AU versions in 64 bit.

I just tried and it work fine with VST version in D.P. 8.05 64 bits version: strange ?

I note that we can raise Machfive in mono as VST while it is absent with the Audio Unit release .
By against, not surround version (5.1 & 7.1) with VST release .

Many thanks but back in Audio Unit version, the problem returns _ It smells uninstall then reinstall MACHFIVE ???..

I'm not sure that will do any good. I see the conflict in pother VIs as well. Probably best we report it to MOTU but if you do reinstall and that works, let us know. OK? Thanks.

Recently reported to MOTU leave them a few days _
I went back to the previous version of Machfive (3.1.4.) and it did not work so I returned the current version 3.2 and now, Machfive stands on a project properly !
I opened two other projects and suddenly Machfive yet unexpectedly quit D.P.

It's very strange because:

VST version: OK
AU version 32 bits: OK
Standalone version : OK
AU version 64 bits : no good with D.P. only !

OK = zero crash

IS there a substantive difference in terms of using the VST v. the AU? I don't think there is - other than one works in 64 bit and the other doesn't... LOL!

The tool should not dictate his will: I tried to remove the MAS version of UVIWorkstation but niet !
So I have to trash the "MAS AudioUnit Support.Bundle" and no problem . MACHFIVE 3 appears even with DP being run .

Do I really have to separate myself from it?

I have now returned to its place the "MAS AudioUnit Support.Bundle" file and no more trouble with MachFive 3: this was a conflict with this file.
I think MachFive 3 is adopted by my machine .

I'm not sure what was going on there? You need MAS AudioUnit Support.bundle to be able to use Audio Units in DP. My understanding is it's sort of a "shell" for AUs to tap into MAS?

When the "MAS AudioUnit Support.Bundle file was in the trash, the MOTU Plug-ins MOTU are working normally.
I am well aware that this is not normal but it is in order that this occurred _

Yes, the MOTU plugs will work. It's the Audio Units that will not.
