RAM Question

Post by VitcoMusic »

I'm looking to increase RAM in my 8 core MP (2011). Newegg has 16g (4x4gb) available for $89.99:

OWC's brand goes for $129.99:

Since the Newegg RAM is the required spec (240pin, 1066Mz, 1.5V, DDR3 1066), can I expect it to work just as well with the existing RAM which is from OWC?

Thanks - Dan V.

I've been purchasing from Data Memory Systems for years and highly recommend them:

Great products and excellent customer service. Give them a call and ask about the thermal sensors.
