"utra focus" software installation problem

This is my 2nd copy of "UF sound anthology" software prgrm that I purchased under the assumption that the !st copy was defected. What is happening is that I am able to copy "uf present files" and "uf data file (#2) from the disc but it won't fully copy "uf data file (#1). I keep getting a prompt that states that the data file could not be read or written. I'm very frustrated as I believe that my mac computer meets all the hardware requirements. If anyone could provide me with some suggestions it would greatly help.
