Hello!
I've always been wary of using my "music production" Mac alongside internet, but am now looking at the possibility of installing an Airport extreme in my G5 dual 1.8!!! Should I be worried??
I'm DP 4.5, 2408mk3,PCI-424

You can always turn the card off during sessions to avoid havin \g it steal CPU cycles...or setup a network location that disables all interfaces (that's what I do) to be sure no CPU cycles are going to anything network (AirPort, Ethernet, BlueTooth, et al).
