PCIe slot temp - can I get your help?

Hey guys. Troubleshooting some things here and noticed when looking at Hardware Monitor it says my PCIe slots 3 and 4 were hot. One was 78c and the other 69c. I cranked up the PCIe fan with SMC and it cooled things down to about 59.

The problem I am troubleshooting is when I boot from the SSD (which is in the PCIe slot) the computer freezes multiple times a day, but when I boot from the internal drive it does not. Since the rated operating temp of the SSD card is up to 70c I figure the excessive heat from the video cards is making it freeze the machine.

Anyway, could a couple of you fine fellows take 2 minutes and tell me what your PCIe temps are so I can compare?

I Hope that was clear. This is your problem. It is a buggy piece of crap.

Remove every part of the Bresink temperature monitor and you should be just fine. It is difficult to remove but possible. Use Find. Type in Bresink. Show Hidden and System files. Send them to Trash, empty and look again. I can't remember if there are 4 or 6 hidden files but all must be found and removed.

Been there, suffered through that.

Hey Mike. Yes, I remember this piece of advice from you before I went to Mountain Lion. Thanks again. Hardware Monitor is his updated version of Temperature Monitor and he does indeed advise folks not to use TM on OS after Snow Leopard.
