Forum login issues...my airport?
I can login thru my phone, but not at home. So i assume its my airport, but there doesn't seem be anything in the airport utility that helps. I also get iTunes error 3004 (the fix i saw at apple forum doesnt help). But other than that and this forum, no other problems with other sites...so far.
What gives?
What gives?

An iTunes error? I don't understand that. Can you explain how that is relevant?

Do you get an error message from the board at all when log in? Can you see the board at all? It might be that your IP address was blocked due to spam. I also report spammers to a service, stopforumspam.com. The way it works is board owners/admins report the username, email address, and IP address of a spammer and then it's added to a list maintained by stopforumspam. There is code in this site that checks your IP against the list at stopforumspam and if it's associated with a spammer, you don't see this site at all.... just a page that says "Go Away Spammer!" or something similar. It has had a major impact on reducing spam, although those who might have been looking for custom kitchens were possibly inconvenienced.Sergievsky wrote:I can login thru my phone, but not at home. I dont get an error, it just doesnt load. Stays blank, progress meter goes up to about a quarter in d browser then nothing. No problems on my two phones (dif networks). The iTunes error I get when I tried to update my phone & iPad. Search says my laptop can't log into the apple servers. i got around it by connecting my wi-fi to my phone & not my home Network. So its gotta be either my airport or my provider...

Try a different browser. The current version of Safari has issues with this site but failing to connect shouldn't be one of them.Sergievsky wrote:I dont get an error, it just doesnt load. If that doesn't work, talk to your provider. I see that you are in the Philipines. Perhaps there is a port issue that needs to be fixed. More likely, it's a server redirect that isn't working properly.

Hey I can log in now! James did you do anything? I didn't...I turned off my firewall before and it didn't do anything. After a couple of weeks of being locked out...What the heck? I can't check for that iTunes error 3004 because I already updated my iphones. Sometimes these things REALLY piss me off.

ISPs break and fix things all the time.
