Offline Media Search Software?

How do you all keep track of archival data on offline drives? The app I used to use for this is not compatible with Mavericks and the company that made it is long gone. How do you search offline media? Last time I checked Spotlight can't be tricked into doing this.

I use Disk Catalog Maker to create and keep updated searchable database files of online and offline volumes.

I agree. Google and MN are my "go to" sites. Sometimes the MakeMusic user forum and Apple Discussions can also be informative, even for general questions.
