MIDI configuration disappearing in Panther

Has anyone booted up Panther only to discover that your MIDI configuration no longer exists?

Yes and No.

I have an M-Audio audiophile 2496 audio card installed and the "virtual" MIDI cables always disapper.

Of course M-Audio blames Apple and of course Apple just don't care.

I have a M-Audio midisport 8 x8 USB MIDI interface and the "virtual" MIDI cables are always ON even when I unplug the USB.

I've installed all the currently available drivers and nothing.

Yep I have had that happen on occasion.

Very rare though.. maybe 2 times since I added panther last year.
