A good USB 3 PCIe card!

Post by Michael Canavan »

So about a year ago I bought a USB 3 hub and a PCIe card that hosed my mac pro big time. The thing was the only one on the market that didn't have bad reviews at the time, but it prevented start up from happening easily and froze OSX...

The other day I picked one up again hoping this one would work. Inateck 4 port USB 3, model KT4004. Works right out of the box, plugged in a USB3 thumb drive and it booted easily trice as fast as on USB2. Have 6 controllers including my iLock on the hub and everything is working. So big +1 to Inateck, and if you want to utilize the fastest cheapest connection for a Mac Pro I would recommend. :headbang:
M2 Studio Ultra, RME Babyface FS, Slate Raven Mti2, NI SL88 MKII, Linnstrument, MPC Live II, Launchpad MK3. Hundreds of plug ins.
