I hesitate to help the trouble-shooting process once again with my old refrain, but i.e. 10.9.2 and iTunes:

On my MacPro, the update has not caused any problems. iTunes plays perfectly, without glitches or artifacts.

Good for you... I'll be over tomorrow with my iPod to load up my collection so I can hear it all play back without any problems!

What's for dinner?

iTunes and Mavericks very glitchy here.
Cheers,
BK

…string theory says that all subatomic particles of the universe are nothing but musical notes. A, B-flat, C-sharp, correspond to electrons, neutrinos, quarks, and what have you. Therefore, physics is nothing but the laws of harmony of these strings. Chemistry is nothing but the melodies we can play on these strings. The universe is a symphony of strings and the mind of God… it is cosmic music resonating through 11 dimensional hyperspace.

Did you install the iTunes 11.1.5 update? I noticed it hit the App Store about 30 hours ago.

Glitches and pops have plagued iTunes since OS 10.7. I was listening last night and thought it sounded much better than I've heard it in a long time.

I am logged into work for the first time in awhile tonight, so can confirm that 10.9.2 does NOT fix the side effect of VPN login causing outgoing SMTP email to be held in quarantine in the Outbox of Apple Mail.

I think the Release Notes specifically just said VPN is more stable now and less likely to lose its connection (this was happening to be now and then before).

I haven't launched DP since doing the 10.9.2 upgrade this week, so can't yet report on plug-ins etc.

EDIT: I have to revise my comment, as I was successful in sending via Yahoo just now while using VPN (separately) in my session; just not via Astound (my IP). So that's an improvement over 10.9.1.
