Markers not working

Post by Jim »

I don't use DP every day, and only recently noticed this:

Markers have stopped working. I can open the Markers Tab, but it won't let me Add Marker by the menu twirly.

"Record Hits" is the only function not grayed out in the Marker menu. But, it doesn't add markers by the method described in the Manual.

It appears that Markers are totally disabled.

I searched the Help doc to see if there's an enable/disable function, but no dice.

I noticed this on 9.51, but also seems to be an issue with 9.1.71078

Yeah working fine here on my 3,1 mac pro 10.11.6. Could it be a corrupt project file? Have you tried it on a newly created project? Just thinkin' out loud. :?

Markers not working

Post by buzzsmith »

This has happened to be before, somehow, inadvertently.

Try...

View>Filters...

This will open up the View Filters window. Make sure "Global" is selected from the two choices at the top of the window.

Verify that the button to the left of "Markers" has been selected. It will be white, if not, black, if selected. You want the black.

That should do it!

Ahh, Buzzy's got the ticket. Yes, View Filter. Why didn't I think of that?!! I think that's bitten every one of us at some point, and still we forget about it.

Jim, you've been bitten! 8)
