On one project I'm working on (a 30sec commercial), I've noticed huge hangs and lag when setting Record Enable On/Off or Monitor Enable On/Off, among other simple commands.
It seems to occur in this particular project because I have my main "master" bus routed through two stereo tracks (1 to record the master bus, then the next to record automation applied).
Deleting these tracks seems to get rid of the hangs and lag.
My DSP isn't spiking, and CPU doesn't seem to spike. No abnormal or new plugins being used. Project has a lot of chopped of soundbites, but nothing out of the ordinary from what I've done.
Does this happen to anyone else? It starts to be a workflow killer.
Project slowdown with multiple master bus routings?
