jBridge & DP: any experiences

Post by chibear »

Hi, folks. Bit the bullet yesterday and am now an official new user :D So far so good except for the usual newbie idiocies, except as I point DP to my existing vst's I have noticed a few of my favorites are 32 bit. My old DAW automatically bridged them in so except for some extra RAM use for the wrapper I didn't notice, so the question:

A few years ago I used jBridge to use 64 bit Play & Kontakt in a 32 bit host. Does anyone have any experience bridging 32 bit vst's into 64 bit DP??

EDIT: I found my old copy of jBridge and used it on one of my 32 bit vst's. It did not pass the DP inspection. So far no good  but I'll try a few more before I give up.

I can't believe no one answered this question. Have you tried BlueCat's Patchwork or the mighty Vienna Ensemble Pro? This is such a late reply that I'm sure you've already found a solution.

Might not have been answered because a most of the users on this board are Mac users because of DP's long history on that platform. If you had a Mac, 32 Lives is really the best solution IMHO.

Unfortunately, no Windows version. :(
