Batch adjusting automation

Post by blueslash »

How do you trim automation across multiple tracks?

Example:
Everybody wants there track louder, eventually you run out of headroom on certain tracks. I want to select all Volume automation across all tracks and lower them keeping their individual automation intact.

Selecting all breakpoints across all tracks and lowering only lowers the track you're dragging.

Grouping all tracks and lowering (breakpoints highlighted), makes all tracks imitate the track you are changing. * This seems to have changed and works as it should.

Trim Touch and Trim Latch just write new automation.

What am I missing :-p

Figured it out.

For anyone interested ...

Group all Tracks you want to Adjust (you can't just select the automation break points),
select the area you want to adjust,
then with the TRIM tool adjust one track's automation.
All tracks in the group will adjust accordingly.
