The trim and roll tools are great.
If you want to do this with a key command you seem to be out of luck.
The only options for nudging starts and ends is the selection, not the region itself.
Please add:
Move region start left
Move region start a little left
Move region start right
Move region start a little right
Move region end left
Move region end a little left
Move region end right
Move region end a little right
Trim region start to previous region end
Trim region end to next region start
Thanks!

Re: Feature Request: Start/End nudge key commands
If you click on a soundbite (DP's name for an audio region) can nudge it forwards and backwards in time with the arrow keys. I think that covers some of what you want.

Re: Feature Request: Start/End nudge key commands
I get it. You are absolutely right. Having a selected region and being able to use the nudge amount to trim fronts & backs independently would be VERY helpful.
