Soundbites won't move in 8.1

Soundbites won't move in 8.1

I'm experiencing an incredibly annoying issue in 8.1. I can't move soundbites and folders in the soundbites list at all. If I grab the handle and try to move them, I get a little red 'x' over the cursor. This doesn't happen on my Win 7 system. Soundbites will move into the sequence editor etc. just not within the soundbites list. And additional piece of information- I have a 3200 x 1800 display which I know aren't particularly well supported in many apps (and Windows in general) at this point.

A few suggestions:

Check your "View filter" Settings
Check if DP is not in MIDI only mode
Check if the files are available in the Hard Drive
