Hi all,
managed to change notes on drum editor to match Superior Drummer elements (kick, snare, etc) and saved it into a drum kit. Although drum kit and project are saved, after reopening the project all those names are disappeared, just got standard notes C1, D1, etc.
Anyone else having same behaviour with DP8 WIN? Followed all steps on manual so I'm not sure if there's something missing or if that's a bug to be fixed. Running on Win8 x64.
Thanks a lot in advance.

Yeah, this is one of DPs oddities I've always disliked. To create a drum map, you need to first create a "MIDI Device Group" (there's a special window for it). Then assign THAT to the output instead of the MIDI track. Only then will your drum names stick.
I've been bugging MOTU about updating this for years, it's a really weird design and makes it difficult to juggle drum maps the way most DAWs work. Oh well, it's one of only a very short list of "things other DAWs do better".
