Import Wav64 (.wav .w64) multi-track file to separate tracks

Post by terrybritton »

I have been using Cantabile 3 as a performance host, and it allows recording multi-track to .wav up to 2GB and saves them as .w64 above that. I typically record between 7 and 12 tracks, so it often goes over 2GB.

When I attempt to import that into DP, I always get a surround file. I've tried deinterlacing it, but it does not result in separate DP audio tracks of the normal kind. They all still sit inside of a single DP track, and I cannot figure out how to separate them, let alone import them so they do not be treated as interlaced surround files in the first place.

I've hunted through the menus, but I may have a blind spot causing me to miss the obvious.

Any help here?

Terry
