recrding from 2 MIDI devices at once? RESOLVED

Post by tomf »

All the inputs for MIDI channels say"ANY" is there a way to tell DP that I want to record MIDI from say the electronic drums and a key board at the same time sending the MIDI to different tracks? I click on the input where it says "ANY" but it stays "ANY". I cannot find anything in the manual.

Yes, this is easy.

Just go to the menu item "Studio/Multi Record" near the bottom and click that. Done!

Now you can specify which MIDI device goes to which instrument.

Enjoy!
