Hi all,
So I just took the plunge and upgraded my system from a Mac Pro 1,1 to a refurbished 5,1 "Westmere" 12-core system. I just upgraded to DP 9 from 6.02, as well as the latest versions of NI Komplete, and I'll be running Waves Gold and Abbey Road Bundles.
I'm hoping I can reformat and reuse my existing 250GB SSD drive as my boot drive and apps drive, running Sierra. I plan on installing all the NI Libraries on another HD in my system, as well as recording/playing back all my audio from another HD. Do you all think I'll have enough room on a 250GB SSD to accomodate all of that, or will I need to buy a 480GB SSD?
Thanks!
250GB SSD drive - enough for my setup?

250 should be enough for your boot/application drive

+1 on this. Just leave some free space on it. I believe 10% will do.HCMarkus wrote:250 should be enough for your boot/application drive

It depends on the apps. Leave a minimum of 10% free space. Many recommend 15%.
