I set my file format to broadcast wav and simply record the mix to a stereo track. If that doesn't work for you, you could record to a stereo track (in any format) then export the SB to whatever format you like. I haven't used BTD for some time now. A while back there were some problems (which I think have been fixed - I could be wrong), so I got used to doing real time bounce. Someone just might chime in here on the merits of each. (hint, hint 8) )

I don't know that there are any issues with BTD on Windows. It has been working great on the Mac since it was fixed (DP 8.06, perhaps?) and many of us had no problems with it before.

I have discovered that on an SSD, BTD is near instantaneous.

Hmm, you got my attention with that statement. I've gotta try it!

Ok, I tried it.
On a fairly complex mix (23 tracks) of a 4:30 song it took 2:22 to BTD on SSD vs 3:47 on spinner.

It occurred to me that the bottleneck might be my UAD plugins so I duplicated the mix and turned all UAD plug-ins off.
0:06 for SSD, 2:08 for spinner. WOW!!!!
