That was indeed fun. Looks like they've done a good job creating a very solid (new) hardware signal path and the digital stuff that is doing the rest is impressive. There were times when I think I heard a slight difference, but it was strikingly similar and equally good sounding to my ears (of course, my ears have their limitations, as years/miles go by).

Really fun to learn that the commonly-used-in-R&B descending "chuckle" SFX that I always thought had to be a synth patch is done with a guitar! Coolish.
