That was quick. He asked me to share his facebook page (I don't use facebook, so if there is something good here, let me know).

And here's the screenshot.

That looks very nice. Thanks for sharing the info!

BTW, I don't use Facebook either, so I echo Bays request.

I’m working on a project to be delivered next week. I’m mainly working in RX 6A but will do the Red Book in DSP-Q.

Fortunately, the current version of DSP-Q is chugging along so I’m good for now. I do have the update budgeted, however, whatever it costs.

Two of the tracks were from the very first session I did with DP 2.71. It was also the last time I hauled my 2-track R-R to a gig as a backup.

I do like what I see of the preview, but doubt I'll regret buying WaveLab Pro, as there will be many times where I need to collaborate with someone who needs to work with WaveLab projects.

Pretty exciting, and the upgrade price is a no-brainer and quite reasonable for the work involved. I'm picking this up today, even though I had given up a month or so ago and bought Wavelab.

UPDATE: I just did the upgrade, but be warned that the payment process is a bit confusing as it throws you to a site I've never heard of called "MyCommerce", and expects you to already have an account. Apparently I do, but not under that name, DSP-Quattro, or Digital River, so I had no record of my login information and had to do an account reset with the email handshake on forgotten password.

It's a no-go though, so I wrote the support desk. No PIN shows up for authorizing, and the app is just blank, except for app menu bar. Even About Box has no PIN to use for authorizing/registering.

Yea, that was a kind of tedious purchase process!!

I just opened for the first time, and was unable to find the batch processor. It's possible it is still there but is accessed some other way. If it is gone, and was removed in v5, I will be bummed out, because that is what I MOSTLY use DSP Quattro for and wouldn't have purchased the upgrade.

Anyone able to find it?

Also, the manual (with the file name DSP-Quattro5UserManual) is actually just the version 4 manual. Weird, and a little sloppy.

Let me know if you find it. That would be a bummer if it was eliminated. I liked the batch processor on Peak was better, but DSP Quattro's is fine. I too use it a lot.

I guess it's worth the upgrade price, but I'm curious what's in the update that people are excited about. I'm not seeing all that much for my workflow - it looks like a weird amount thought and care went into CD authoring features. Who even needs those?

I received the PIN for authorizing, but I am not receiving the License File that is supposed to come via email. It's a very convoluted process. Anyway, I also have a request out to support.

Bill, where was your PIN? Just in case I do have one, but the instructions were inexact. Thanks.

CD authoring capabilities are important to me, but not essential as I don't mind if they're done in a different app. It seemed to me though that the plug-in hosting and the waveform editing had gotten more robust, flexible, and precise, which would make me stop missing BIAS Peak Pro 7 (I've given up on getting mine to launch without crashing, after too much time lost).

On a separate note, I did the Studio One 4 upgrade yesterday due to some useful productivity features in song arranging, and it solves my six-month issue of v3 not launching.

Mark, after you open the application, go to File > New. For me the PIN window opens (which also is the same window that asks for the location of the License File).
