Does anyone know of a site that gives instruction on ways to use a second computer for sound libraries?

I don't, but I'wondering why you need a second computer and not just another external hard drive? The bottleneck is often due to drive access issues, not computer speed. Unless you have gigantic orchestral libraries, your current machine should be able to handle pretty much whatever you throw at it.

Check out Vienna Ensemble Pro. Ethernet carries both Audio and MIDI between computers.
